West Shamokin Junior Senior High School (WSHS) is a small, public high school located in Rural Valley, Pennsylvania. It is one of three high schools operated by the Armstrong School District. In 2013, West Shamokin Junior Senior High School's enrollment was 722 pupils in grades 7th through 12th, with 39% of its pupils eligible for a federal free or reduced price lunch due to the family meeting the federal poverty level. Additionally, 3.6% of students were identified as gifted.
